With all this wintry weather you wouldn’t think it, but Christmas is almost here! (yes, I live in Sydney).
First time I’ve tried an outdoor Christmas tree, but why not? I was a bit concerned about leaving the decorations outside with all this wind and rain. The tinsel has been tied to the branches and the ornaments placed deeply on the branch. So far so good. Fingers crossed for the remaining month.
It’s no pine, in fact I’m not sure what it’s called, but it looks mighty preeetty to me don’t you think?
And why can’t flowers have decorations too? hehe
And how about this for a great Christmas present – through Oxfam you can give a veggie garden to someone on the other side of the world who really needs it: “When you buy this card you’ll help a South African community beat malnutrition by planting a plot of beetroots, spinach, carrots, onions and potatoes.”
Merry Christmas everyone!
